Step by step

How to make the IBPS PO signature

  1. 1

    Prepare the signature

Sign on plain white paper with a black pen, in your normal handwriting, not in capital letters.

  2. 2

    Take a clear picture

Photograph the signature from straight above in daylight, so there are no shadows or tilt.

  3. 3

    Fit it in the frame

Zoom in until the signature fills the frame with a little white space around it. The frame already has the IBPS PO shape of 140 x 60 px.

  4. 4

    Make and download

Press Make. The file comes out as a JPG of 10 to 20 KB, and the tool checks the file itself against the IBPS PO rules.

Avoid mistakes

Why the signature gets rejected

  • The file is outside 10 to 20 KB, or it is not a JPG.
  • The signature is in capital letters, or does not match the one you will make at the exam.
  • It was signed on lined or coloured paper, or with a pencil or a light pen.
  • The whole page was uploaded instead of a close crop of the signature.
  • A signature from another person or an old application was used.

FAQ

IBPS PO signature FAQ

What is the IBPS PO signature size?

140 x 60 pixels (preferred), as a JPG of 10 to 20 KB. The tool makes it 140 x 60 px.

My signature file is too small. How do I reach 10 KB?

A clean signature on white paper makes a very small file. The tool first saves at full quality and, if that is still under 10 KB, adds empty data that viewers ignore, so the file reaches the minimum without changing the picture.

Can I make the IBPS PO signature on my phone?

Yes. Take the picture with the phone camera, open this page in the browser, fit it in the frame and download the file. Nothing needs to be installed and nothing is uploaded.

Any special rule for the IBPS PO signature?

Black ink on white paper, not in capital letters. It must match the signature you make on the exam day.

How do I resize the IBPS PO photo?

Use the main IBPS PO photo and signature resizer page for the photo. It also has the full size table for every IBPS PO document.
