Overview

About Add Page to PDF

Most PDF readers let you look at a file but not add a page to it. This tool opens your PDF, puts the new pages in at the place you pick, and saves a new copy. The pages that were already there are copied as they are, so nothing gets blurry.

A blank page takes the size of the page next to it by default, so it looks like it belongs. You can also choose A4, Letter, Legal or A5, and lined, grid or dotted paper for notes. Pages from another PDF go in all together, in their own order. Pictures become one page each, fitted with a small margin and turned the right way up.

Everything happens in your browser. The PDF is not uploaded, which matters for application forms, contracts and statements.

When it helps

  • Adding a blank page for notes or a signature at the end of a document
  • Putting a missed scanned page back in the right place
  • Inserting a cover page or a certificate from another PDF
  • Adding photos of receipts or ID pages to an application PDF

Good to know

  • Pictures are added as new pages. Placing a picture on top of an existing page is not possible yet.
  • Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
  • Bookmarks and links of an inserted PDF are not carried over; its pages are.
  • HEIC photos are not supported; iPhones usually hand them over as JPG when you pick them in the browser.

Fix a problem

Troubleshooting

The new page has the wrong size

Change Page size from "Same as the page next to it" to A4 or the size you want, then add again.

My picture page looks small

Pictures are fitted inside a 10 mm margin without stretching. Crop the picture first if it has a lot of empty space.

The pages went in at the wrong place

Check Where: "After page 3" puts the new pages between page 3 and page 4. Start again from your original file.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a page to a PDF file?

Open the PDF here, choose Blank pages, Pages from another PDF or Pictures, pick where they go and press Add pages and download.

Can I add a blank page in the middle of a PDF?

Yes. Choose After page and the page number. The blank page matches the size of the page next to it unless you pick another size.

How do I insert one PDF into another?

Choose Pages from another PDF, pick the second file and the place. All its pages go in at that point, in order.

Can I add a picture to a PDF?

Yes, as a new page: choose Pictures as pages and pick JPG, PNG or WebP files. Each one becomes a page.

Will the other pages lose quality?

No. The pages that were already in the PDF are copied without any change.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are added in your browser and the new file is saved straight to your device.

Is it free?

Yes, free with no sign-up and no watermark.
