Step by step

How to make the SBI PO left thumb

  1. 1

    Prepare the left thumb

Press your thumb lightly on a stamp pad (black or blue ink) and then once on plain white paper. Lift it straight up.

  2. 2

    Take a clear picture

Photograph the mark from straight above in good light. The lines of the thumb should be visible.

  3. 3

    Fit it in the frame

Zoom in until the mark fills most of the frame. The frame already has the SBI PO shape of 240 x 240 px.

  4. 4

    Make and download

Press Make. The file comes out as a JPG of 20 to 50 KB, and the tool checks the file itself against the SBI PO rules.

Avoid mistakes

Why the left thumb gets rejected

  • The file is outside 20 to 50 KB, or it is not a JPG.
  • The mark is smudged or too dark, so the lines of the thumb cannot be seen.
  • Too much ink was used, or the thumb was pressed twice.
  • The picture is tilted or in poor light.
  • A left thumb from another person or an old application was used.

FAQ

SBI PO left thumb FAQ

What is the SBI PO left thumb size?

3 cm x 3 cm, 240 x 240 pixels at 200 DPI, as a JPG of 20 to 50 KB. The tool makes it 240 x 240 px.

My left thumb file is too small. How do I reach 20 KB?

A clean left thumb on white paper makes a very small file. The tool first saves at full quality and, if that is still under 20 KB, adds empty data that viewers ignore, so the file reaches the minimum without changing the picture.

Can I make the SBI PO left thumb on my phone?

Yes. Take the picture with the phone camera, open this page in the browser, fit it in the frame and download the file. Nothing needs to be installed and nothing is uploaded.

Any special rule for the SBI PO left thumb?

Black or blue ink on white paper. Without a left thumb, use the right thumb, then a finger.

How do I resize the SBI PO photo?

Use the main SBI PO photo and signature resizer page for the photo. It also has the full size table for every SBI PO document.
