Step by step
How to make the GSSSB signature
- 1
Prepare the signature
Sign on plain white paper with a black pen, in your normal handwriting, not in capital letters.
- 2
Take a clear picture
Photograph the signature from straight above in daylight, so there are no shadows or tilt.
- 3
Fit it in the frame
Zoom in until the signature fills the frame with a little white space around it. The frame already has the GSSSB shape of 295 x 98 px.
- 4
Make and download
Press Make. The file comes out as a JPG of up to 15 KB, and the tool checks the file itself against the GSSSB rules.
Avoid mistakes
Why the signature gets rejected
- The file is outside up to 15 KB, or it is not a JPG.
- The signature is in capital letters, or does not match the one you will make at the exam.
- It was signed on lined or coloured paper, or with a pencil or a light pen.
- The whole page was uploaded instead of a close crop of the signature.
- A signature from another person or an old application was used.

FAQ
GSSSB signature FAQ
What is the GSSSB signature size?
2.5 cm high x 7.5 cm wide, as a JPG of up to 15 KB. The tool makes it 295 x 98 px.
My signature file is too small. How do I reach the minimum KB?
GSSSB sets no minimum for the signature, only a maximum of 15 KB, so a small file is fine.
Can I make the GSSSB signature on my phone?
Yes. Take the picture with the phone camera, open this page in the browser, fit it in the frame and download the file. Nothing needs to be installed and nothing is uploaded.
Any special rule for the GSSSB signature?
Black or blue ink on white paper, clearly readable.
How do I resize the GSSSB photo?
Use the main GSSSB photo and signature resizer page for the photo. It also has the full size table for every GSSSB document.
