Step by step

How to make the Gujarat Police signature

  1. 1

    Prepare the signature

Sign on plain white paper with a black pen, in your normal handwriting, not in capital letters.

  2. 2

    Take a clear picture

Photograph the signature from straight above in daylight, so there are no shadows or tilt.

  3. 3

    Fit it in the frame

Zoom in until the signature fills the frame with a little white space around it. The frame already has the Gujarat Police shape of 295 x 98 px.

  4. 4

    Make and download

Press Make. The file comes out as a JPG of up to 15 KB, and the tool checks the file itself against the Gujarat Police rules.

Avoid mistakes

Why the signature gets rejected

  • The file is outside up to 15 KB, or it is not a JPG.
  • The signature is in capital letters, or does not match the one you will make at the exam.
  • It was signed on lined or coloured paper, or with a pencil or a light pen.
  • The whole page was uploaded instead of a close crop of the signature.
  • A signature from another person or an old application was used.
