Good to know for Gujarat Police

  • The advertisement GPRB/202526/1 covers both PSI and LRD (Lokrakshak) posts in one form.
  • The signature must be clearly readable. Sign larger than usual on white paper so it stays sharp in a small file.

Step by step

How to resize the Gujarat Police photo and signature

  1. 1

    Pick the document

Gujarat Police is already selected. Choose photo or signature; the size and KB range from Gujarat Police Recruitment Board advertisement GPRB/202526/1 and the OJAS instructions are applied for you.

  2. 2

    Add your picture

Choose the picture from your gallery or take a new one. JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC pictures work.

  3. 3

    Crop and adjust

Drag and zoom until the face fits the guide (or the signature fills the box). Fix the brightness or contrast if needed.

  4. 4

    Make and download

Press Make. The file comes out inside the allowed KB range, and the tool checks the downloaded file itself: format, KB, pixels and print size for the Gujarat Police form.

Avoid mistakes

Why Gujarat Police photos get rejected

  • The photo is outside up to 15 KB. Files that are too small are refused as well as files that are too big.
  • The signature is outside up to 15 KB, or it is a photo of the whole page instead of a close crop of the signature.
  • The face is too small, cut off at the top, or turned to one side.
  • The background is dark, patterned or has shadows, or the photo is blurred, too dark or too bright.
  • A selfie, a group photo, a photo of a printed photo, or an old photo was used.
  • The file is a PNG, HEIC or PDF when the form wants JPG, or it was renamed instead of converted.

Tips for a clear photo and signature

  • Recent colour passport size photo on a plain light background.
  • Keep the face straight and fill about three quarters of the photo height, from the top of the hair to the chin. Eyes open, mouth closed, no caps or dark glasses.
  • Sign on plain white paper with a black or dark blue pen, press firmly, and photograph it from straight above in daylight.
  • Crop closely around the signature or thumb mark. White space wastes the size limit and makes the mark look small.
  • Use the same photo everywhere in the Gujarat Police application and keep a few prints; the same photo is often needed at the exam centre.
