Overview
About Image to JPG Converter
JPG is the picture format every phone, computer, website and upload form accepts. Other formats cause trouble: WebP images saved from websites will not open in some programs, PNG screenshots are often too heavy for a form, and iPhone HEIC photos do not open on many Windows PCs. This JPG file converter changes all of them to a normal JPG.
The picture is redrawn at its full size and saved as JPG at the quality you choose. JPG has no transparency, so see-through areas in a PNG or WebP become white. Only the first frame of an animated GIF is kept.
Everything happens in your browser. The pictures are not uploaded, and the new JPGs carry no camera details or GPS location from the originals.

- Changing a WebP image saved from a website into a JPG that opens everywhere
- Turning PNG screenshots into lighter JPGs for email or a form

- AVIF works in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari; very old browsers may not open it.
Fix a problem
Troubleshooting
It says the picture could not be read
The file may be damaged, or it is a format browsers cannot open, such as TIFF or RAW. Export it as PNG or JPG from the program that made it first.
The see-through background turned white
JPG cannot store transparency. Choose PNG instead if you need to keep it.
The JPG is too big for a form
Choose Small file, or set an exact KB limit with Resize & Compress Image to 100KB.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I change an image to JPG?
Choose the picture here, keep JPG selected and press Download when it is ready. Several pictures can be converted together and saved as a ZIP.
How do I convert PNG to JPG?
Add the PNG files and download the JPGs. Transparent parts become white, and the JPG is usually much smaller than the PNG.
How do I convert WebP to JPG?
Add the WebP images saved from a website; each one comes out as a normal JPG that opens in any program.
Does converting to JPG reduce quality?
At High quality the difference is very hard to see. Medium and Small file trade a little detail for a lighter file.
Can I convert many images at once?
Yes, up to 50 at a time, and Download all as ZIP saves them together.
Are my pictures uploaded?
No. The conversion happens in your browser and the pictures never leave your device.
Is it free?
Yes, free with no sign-up and no watermark.
